Michael is a well diverse Art & Creative Director best known for his eclectic design career, infectious passion, and obsessively-driven graphic story telling. Currently at FARM Buffalo Michael is an Art Director whom focuses on the SunTrust Bank™ and Mutual of Omaha® accounts, as well as various other agency clients and operations.

Previously at ARTVOICE, New Era® Cap Co. and The Martin Group as a Freelance Art Director/Sr. Designer Michael was responsible for maintaining the vision and art production within each company. While at New Era, he drove the creative output for sectors including including the 2014 MLB All-Star Game, 2014 NFL Draft, NFL Sideline, and NFL regular season campaigns. Helping to establish New Era Cap as one of the most recognizable lifestyle brands.
Earlier in his career Michael also spent time on the brand-side in the high end luxury sector as the Senior Designer & Marketing Executive at Fraser Yachts Worldwide, the world’s leading, full-service yachting company. Fueling the launch of the global rebranding efforts and maintaining the worldwide brand representation of all creative development.
"Downey" (as industry professionals/peers call him) has been educated at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (2004), and the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale (2007) with Bachelors degrees in Graphic Design as well as Business & Marketing.
Out of the office, you can always find Downey being active. Whether its continuing to prefect his design skills and ability, training at a gym, dabbling with his own clothing line ideas, like recov3ry, looking for inspiration, or running with his dog, Bentley.
